Last week our Parents' Association听hosted their听first听event of the year in aid of听. Many parents and听staff enjoyed a coffee, a cake and a chance to chat with other parents in the homely environment of the Boarding House. As well as hotly-anticipated raffle, there were whole cakes for sale & smaller treats to take home or to be enjoyed at the听. 拢585 was raised at the event in the Boarding House and a further 拢65 was raised in our staff rooms throughout the week.
All money raised will support Macmillan鈥檚 vital work & will help fund the charity's amazing Macmillan nurses, answer calls on the Support Line, give financial support, and听more. In 2022, over 拢12 million was raised from coffee mornings throughout the UK and over 拢290 million has gone to this charitable cause since its launch in 1990.
