Fourth Former Sings for the Queen in "The Diamond Choir"

Body

Thrilled Fourth Form pupil and member of the National Youth Choir, Clara Foo, was one of 40 性用社 chosen out of 400 boys and girls aged 10 to 13 from across the country to sing for the Queen as part of the Diamond Jubilee Service at St Paul鈥檚 Cathedral in London.

Broadcast live on television, the 性用社 performed a specially commissioned piece, 鈥淭he Call of Wisdom鈥, with words by Michael Hampel, Precentor of St Paul's and music听from British composer Will Todd.

The honour is still sinking in for Clara who exclaimed, 鈥After the event I watched the replay of me in the service and I sort of realised only then that this is real because it all felt like a dream with me singing to the Queen and meeting her.鈥
