Last week a group of our Year 8 性用社 took part in the听PowerHouse听Games at the Cambridge University Sports Centre, which was organised and run by the charity听听(Inclusion through Sport) with its founder, Mr John Willis.

The morning focused on taking part in adapted games and sports. After the welcoming ceremony, the participants took part in a rota of inclusive sports including:听boccia, touch rugby, new age听curling, goalball, walking football and sitting netball - all different examples as to how sports can be made accessible.

鈥淭he听PowerHouseGames听is an incredible sports day听using adapted games and sports. All the activities are especially designed to be accessible and fun for everyone, old and young, with disabilities and none, sporty and not 鈥 and in so doing are wonderfully inclusive.鈥听(Founder ~ John Willis)
